Like a lot of jewelery shoppers, I was always looking for something different, but it never occurred to me to try to create a design from scratch on my own. Jessica made the process painless, from the initial design of the setting, the wax model and selecting the stones. I was impressed with how easy it really was. Jessica made any changes I wanted until I was completely comfortable with the final design and stones. There was no pressure and I could really work at my own pace. Recently I had some custom work done at Finch Jewelers. I brought my ideas with me and went over them with Jessica. Together we decided what would work best and then her dad Ron made what I wanted. I wanted my engagement ring to match my wedding ring as if it had been purchased together as a set. Ron made a mold that I was able to try on and see if it was what I wanted before proceeding. Through the whole process Jessica and I kept in touch through e-mail or visits to the store. The end result is beautiful. Ron turned my old setting into a beautiful pair of earrings. Nothing was wasted. I had had this idea for a few years but as I shopped around no one really got exactly what I was looking to do and no one in the area seems to do their own custom work.

I was so pleased that when my son was shopping for an engagement ring I referred him to Jessica at Finch's. She was very kind and helpful. There was no pressure. My son did put a ring on lay away. The ring is beautiful and a much better quality then he had found in the mall for basically the same price.

My wedding ring needed to be rebuilt due to constantly fixing the prongs. My husband and I were concerned about it looking the same and also making sure we received the same diamonds back. Ron Finch rebuilt the ring and not only does it look exactly like the original, it is stronger. They also made me feel comfortable leaving the ring there taking the time to show me the ring on their equipment both before leaving it there and when I picked it up. I could also stop by at any time and see the progress since the ring never left the store's location. We were so happy with Finch Jewelers and would recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the matching wedding band to my diamond. As usual, your dad did a fantastic job that exceeded my expectations. We talked about it probably needing to set up higher to fit properly and it would cover the tulip/diamond, but some how he was able to make it fit perfectly while setting low enough that you can still see the tulip/diamond. He is just an absolute perfectionist at his craft and I can't say enough wonderful things about the quality of his work and the total professional level of service provided by you and the entire staff. When my friend told me about Finch's Jewelers I had heard about you but had never been inside, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But when I walked inside and saw how beautiful your shop was, and then when I saw how friendly and helpful you all were to the customers you had, I knew that I had made the right decision. You always told me that you were glad I chose Finch's because I could have gone anywhere to get my ring, and you were right, I could have. But let me tell you something, I went to several places and actually had my heart set on a spot before I walked through your door, and not one of them gave me the service that you did in the first five minutes of me being there. I mean, I had found a ring at another location that was exactly what I was looking for but you didnt carry it. What did you do? You went on your own time to see the ring and then you told me that you could custom make it for me but with higher quality diamonds, for practically the same price! That said a lot about you and your business right there. And if that wasn't enough, when I came to you I had planned to propose only a few weeks away. A deadline that most places could not meet at the last minute. But you assured me that even if you had to work overtime (and I know you did) I would have my ring. It was evident from the start that you were willing to go above and beyond for me and that you cared more about your reputation than you did about making the sale.

After losing both my parents to death in less than a month, I was excited to have the few pieces of jewelry that my Dad ever wore. One piece was his wedding band. I always wanted a dress kind of pinky ring and thought I'd have to melt the gold of his ring and create a new one. Knowing the story behind it, though, Ron got an idea. He excused himself for a bit and returned with an incredible idea for the ring. Rather than melt it down, he kept the integrity of my Dad's wedding ring, placed it on white gold and added some stones. I was and still am ecstatic, knowing I have a piece of my Dad with me whenever I wear it and freely brag at the ingenious way that Ron kept the sentiment, more than I would have ever imagined.
